The Guangzhou City Map
The city of Guangzhou is the capital of Guangdong province with coordinates of 113° 17′ longitude East and 23° 8′ latitude North; favored with a rich history of around two thousand two hundred years, it is the largest trade port in Southern China.

A map of the city can be accessed by logging on to the maps-of-china .net website. Guangzhou city has a nickname, which is ‘Yangcheng’, meaning ram-city. The legend attached to this name is that around the tenth century BC, five super beings flew into the city on five rams, which had stalks of rice in their mouths. The immortal beings gave these stalks of rice to the peasants and prayed for good crops for a bumper harvest and flew away leaving the five rams behind which later turned to stone. Guangzhou city now has a population of six million five hundred sixty thousand. It is located at the southern periphery of China and has Macao and Hong Kong as neighbors quite close by. The Guangzhou map details the comprehensive transportation network of highways, railways, air and water networks, which serve to connect the city with the rest of China and the world as well. Favored with mild weather throughout the year with average annual temperature ranging around twenty-three degrees centigrade, Guangzhou is called the city of flowers. The city is spread over an area of 7434 square kilometers and comprises of twelve districts.
